Operations Lead, Collision, Rental and Refurbishment Analytics

• Serve as liaison with reporting teams to ensure the accuracy of data, expedite bug fixes, and proactively monitoring system performance to escalate system failure points before operations is impacted
• Validate data integrity by cross-referencing reports against source systems, identifying discrepancies, and diagnosing failures in underlying logic
• Perform ad hoc data analysis by writing SQL queries,developing Python scripts, and utilizing advanced Excel functions to extract and interpret information for business stakeholders
• Create effective presentations and data visualizations to drive business decisions, while aligning with Tesla design standards
• Translate business needs into technical requirements for the reporting and development teams to drive system enhancements
• Document data sources, logic, and processes to create a reliable knowledge base for the team
• Support operational teams by providing data-driven insights on a requested basis and clarifying the functionality of Tesla's internal systems

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated mastery of Tesla's internal service, collision, and reporting systems
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and data modeling; familiarity with Python machine learning framework
• Strong proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries to pull and manipulate data from various databases
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to understand and troubleshoot complex data logic
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences and collaborating effectively across teams
• A high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently on complex analytical tasks
