We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Client Executive to join our Corporate Trust Client Coverage team. This role is located in New York, NY. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Independently oversee a portfolio of existing Corporate and/or Municipal client relationships and prospect for new relationships, focusing on revenue growth through a combination of deepening and expanding existing relationships and cultivating new business.
- Collaborate with clients and prospects to identify the specific services that align with their funding and debt capital market objectives.
- Offer solutions including Trustee, Collateral Agent, Administrative Agent, and Escrow services across a broad range of asset classes and funding vehicles, from Corporate and Municipal Standalone to ABS.
- Proactively identify potential leads from within existing client accounts or as a result of industry research, prospecting.
- Deliver the full value of BNY by understanding our product suite and orchestrating cross-bank solutions tailored to client needs.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations, proposals, and RFP responses; lead negotiations and drive timely closure.
- Evaluate and structure deals (pricing, contract terms, etc.) to determine the optimal terms for both the client and the firm's commercial objectives & risk appetite
- Partner closely with Product, Legal, and Risk to ensure efficient deal execution and high-quality client experience.
- Drive Hub strategic initiatives, contribute to segment revenue and growth goals.
- Operate within Agile methodologies and a hub-based model to cover US Corporates and Public Finance; accelerate the team learning curve.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 7-15 years of total work experience preferred.
- Proven experience in financial services, specifically with fixed income products and debt capital markets.
- Preferred background in customer-facing roles such as Sales or Capital Markets to effectively engage clients and understand their needs.
- Experience in Corporate Trust, Sales or Capital Markets with a track record of engaging clients and translating needs into solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate prospects-analyzing market strategy, deal requirements, growth potential, and financials-to qualify and prioritize opportunities.
- Knowledge of the Corporate Trust or Debt Capital marketplace, competitive landscape, and key industry drivers in the relevant region.
- Proven pipeline discipline and execution mindset; comfortable with pricing, term structuring, and commercial trade-offs.
- Strong collaboration skills with Product, Legal, Risk, and Operations to drive efficient, compliant execution.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders and clients.
- No direct reports, provide guidance to less experienced Client Coverage members as needed.
- Able to utilize Agile methodologies and a hub-based framework to serve US Corporates and the Public Finance sector. This approach enables accelerated learning through collaboration with Hub Leads, facilitating the efficient support and mastery of tasks to achieve faster, high-impact results.
- Dedicated to rapid learning and knowledge-sharing within a hub environment; ability to coach peers and standardize task mastery through playbooks.

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $210,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
