SALARY RANGE $30.18 - $46.10WORK ASSIGNMENT DETAILS Waukesha County's Department of Health & Human Services is recruiting for an LTE RN or LPN to join our pool nursing team within the Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use Services Clinic. This would be an ongoing assignment working 24 hours per week (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) with potential for additional hours as the schedule permits. The Outpatient Clinic is located within the Waukesha County Human Services Center (514 Riverview Avenue, Waukesha). Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Primary duties will include nursing support for clients receiving psychiatric prescribing services within the Waukesha County DHHS outpatient services array. Support services include administering injectable psychotropic medication, vitals assessment, health education, urine drug screens, coordination with pharmacies and psychiatric prescribers, order entry, triage of client inquiries regarding symptoms or medication needs, and other nursing duties as identified. CLASSIFICATION SPECIFICATION The department may choose to fill this position as a Registered Nurse (RN). The RN classification specification can be viewed here. The 2025 salary range for RN is: $34.95 - $46.10. Registered Nurse Minimum Training & Experience Requirements OR B. Temporary State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse permit and attainment of the Registered Nurse license within 6 months of employment. The department may choose to underfill this position as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). LPN Minimum Training & Experience Requirements: 1. Graduation from a recognized program in practical nursing. 2. Licensure for practical nursing in the State of Wisconsin.
