About the role: We're looking for a strategic leader to build and lead the Generative AI (GenAI) Risk function within Card Servicing Strategy. Card Servicing is at the forefront of our GenAI transformation, leading the company in number and diversity of use cases. You'll have a front-row seat to how GenAI is reshaping how we serve customers, and play a key role in ensuring we do so responsibly and effectively. What you'll do: As the Business Director of GenAI Risk, you will lead a new, critical function focused on proactive, rigorous risk management for Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI within Servicing. Responsibilities are structured across 3 core pillars: Define and Drive GenAI Risk Strategy: Develop and execute the overall strategy for identifying, mitigating, and monitoring GenAI risks across all Servicing use cases. Partner with BA, product, tech, and operations leaders to embed responsible AI principles into the design and deployment of internal tools and customer-facing solutions. Build Governance and Strengthen Controls: Streamline and scale the governance process for GenAI initiatives, ensuring clarity, consistency, and speed to market. Establish policies, standards, and guardrails in partnership with the enterprise risk and compliance teams. Prepare our Servicing Ecosystem for Agentic AI Demand: Establish the policies and strategic approach for addressing agentic demands. Partner with Fraud to build capabilities to detect and monitor AI-mediated interactions across all channels. What we're looking for:

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $226,000 - $257,900 for Business Director Richmond, VA: $205,400 - $234,400 for Business Director New York, NY: $246,500 - $281,300 for Business DirectorCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
