Responsibilities

The Web QA and Automation Engineer ensures the quality, reliability, and performance of BPAS web applications while separately developing automation and AI-driven solutions to streamline operations. This hybrid role combines hands-on testing of participant, sponsor, and advisor web portals with development of process automation tools using platforms such as Power Automate, RPA frameworks, or AI agents.

  • Partner with business and technology teams to understand processes and identify automation opportunities.
  • Design and implement automation solutions (RPA workflows, AI agents, or integration bots) that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
  • Participate in test planning, release readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain clear documentation of test cases, automation logic, and deployment instructions.
  • Support production rollout testing and post-release validation.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and user acceptance testing on BPAS web applications.
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts and testing matrix to ensure consistent validation of web functionality and requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of any issues as they arise.

Qualifications

Education,Training and Requirements:

  • Minimum of Associate's Degree with Business and IT emphasis
  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older

Competencies:

  • Displays good planning, organizational, time management, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • An ability to clearly understand a business process, communicate it, and translate it to functional system requirements
  • Relate to customers and co-workers with respect, providing clear and detailed information
  • Display an intermediate level competency with Microsoft Office applications, as well as personal computer skills
