Security Electronics Technician

Overview

The Security Electronics Technician will be responsible for all electronic systems and computerized controls for our facilities, including locking systems, fire alarms, intercoms, CCTV, and other security-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electronic systems and computerized controls for our facilities, including locking systems, fire alarms, intercoms, CCTV, and more
• Perform preventative maintenance on smoke detectors and related control systems.
• Make competent inspections of the building security and electronics systems.
• Become familiar with the design and layout of the facility while demonstrating the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics effectively.

Qualifications

• 4 - 6 years of security electronics experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs)
• Experience with CMMS and computer proficiency preferred.

Compensation

We are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The hiring range for this position is generally between $26.92 to $34.42, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the general Hiring Range for the role. Hiring at the top of the range is reserved for exceptionally qualified candidates. We consider internal and external factors as a part of every final offer.
