Job Title: Project / Program Manager

Location(s): Oklahoma City

Description
The Project/Program Manager II leads, organizes, and delivers client projects across the full project lifecycle. This role works closely with both external partners (clients, vendors, third parties) and internal teams (Program Management, Sales, Engineering, Software Engineering, and Operations) to deliver EVBS solutions. The Project/Program Manager II also begins developing subject-matter expertise in the EV battery systems (EVBS) domain. A key focus of the role is building and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring structured, on-time, and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership
  • Own the planning, organization, and documentation for assigned EVBS projects.
  • Lead internal and external project teams from concept through delivery and, when required, into post-launch phases.
  • Drive all program activities and artifacts from RFP/RFI through delivery, warranty, and post-go-live operations.
  • Define, sequence, and estimate project activities in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Consolidate diverse information into actionable project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between teams and proper transition to business-as-usual operations.
  • Plan and facilitate internal and client-facing meetings (phone, virtual, and in-person).
  • Follow EVBS Implementation Framework including:
    • Project kickoff workshops.
    • Technical discovery (process definition, facilities planning, engineering & software requirement reviews, invoicing/billing workflows).
    • Schedule and SOW development.
    • Procurement, facility readiness, operational readiness.
    • Production trial runs, PPAP/Launch.
  • Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with strong organization and prioritization.
Team Leadership
  • Lead project teams to meet business objectives while maintaining project cadence and accountability.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to manage changes, negotiate timelines, and support client-driven adjustments.
  • Influence and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely decision-making and delivery.
Communication & Risk Management
  • Act as the primary communication bridge between the project team and leadership.
  • Create and maintain core project artifacts: schedules, RAID logs, process flows, meeting minutes, and status reports.
  • Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation and contingency plans, and escalate issues when needed.
  • Drive corrective actions to improve project health (RAG status).
  • Support limited regional or client travel as required.
Post-Implementation Client Support
  • Serve as primary contact for assigned EVBS clients post-implementation.
  • Follow the EVBS Performance Management Framework to ensure operational excellence.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders at all levels.
  • Oversee operational, business, and financial aspects of client programs, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Manage SOW compliance, purchase orders, and replenishments.
  • Provide proactive recommendations and communicate risks, challenges, and solutions.
  • Lead regular internal and client status meetings.
  • Capture lessons learned, improve processes, and identify new opportunities or potential upsell paths.
Job Requirements Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred (due to the technical nature of EVBS projects).
  • 1-2 years of experience in project management or related field.
  • Experience with EV batteries is a plus.
  • Client-facing experience with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and accountable.
  • Strong ability to simplify complex information for varied audiences.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency in:
    • MS Project / Smartsheet.
    • Excel.
    • PowerPoint.
    • Visio / Lucidchart.
    • Word.
  • Travel requirement: 10-25%.
  • Must have the physical ability and mental acuity to meet role demands.

Preferred location: Oklahoma City
Other acceptable locations: Las Vegas, NV; Conyers/Atlanta, GA; Belleville, MI
