Job Description

Responsible for coordinating gas maintenance and compliance programs. Organizes, issues, and monitors work by utilizing and maintaining various data management tools. Interfaces with Service Providers and various PSE departments to manage and track gas maintenance and compliance program performance. Duties may include data and records management, conducting, analyzing and researching information, project support, and working directly with customers. May provide training for groups performing maintenance or compliance work. Supports emergency response operations when needed.



Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.



Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct. Ensure duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.



This position may be subject to random DOT drug and/or alcohol testing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Schedules, issues, and monitors maintenance and compliance work conducted by field Operations, Service Providers or approved third parties using SAP and various databases.
  • Provides necessary maintenance or compliance program training for field employees and office staff, which may include developing job aids, process flows, and program expectations.
  • Performs various tasks in support of department needs using applications and tools specific to job assignments and discipline. Examples may include:

    • Reviews, analyzes and assesses data and records for accuracy and completeness.
    • Documents research for system compliance requirements.
    • Creates and updates data and records in the system of record and GIS applications.
    • Performs data and records management.
    • Works directly with customers to make access arrangements.


  • Produces job packets for gas or electric maintenance activities or compliance inspections.
  • Works with other departments to help resolve customer-related issues or complaints.
  • Ensures compliance with codes, standards, and design, operation, and maintenance requirements.
  • Provides input to Standards and Compliance on the development and review of Operating Standards and Procedures.
  • May organize and present records and reporting for WUTC during audits.
  • Supports emergency response work as requested including immediate and extended restoration efforts driven by weather and other system failures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers in a team environment.
  • High level of competency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Experience creating and maintaining complex databases.
  • Working knowledge of Operating Standards and Procedures.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Utility experience, knowledge of subject matter within assigned area of focus.
  • Experience working with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as a part of a team to drive results.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance & Material Management modules.
  • Experience using a variety of business applications and analysis tools such as Excel, Word, Power BI, Power Point, Visio and SAP modules.
  • Experience working with D4's and Operation and Plat maps
  • Experience using ESRI or other GIS tools.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Gas Field Operation and Standards.

The pay range for this position is$70,200.00-$99,800.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
