Summary
We have a current opportunity for a Manufacturing and Logistics Technician, located at our facilities in Albuquerque, NM. In this role, you will support the production, assembly, inspection, and logistics of aerospace hardware and components. You'll play a key role in both hands-on manufacturing tasks and coordinating the movement, inspection, and documentation of materials and finished goods. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the assembly, testing, and inspection of prototype and flight hardware under engineering supervision.
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties, including packaging, labeling, and verifying incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure traceability of materials and hardware through the production process.
  • Support logistics coordination, ensuring materials and components are available to meet production schedules.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and assembly procedures, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to confirm conformance to specifications.
  • Prepare materials, tools, and components for assembly and shipping activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, reporting any non-conformances or issues to supervisors or engineers.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.


Ideal Experience


  • High School Diploma or GED; additional technical training preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or aerospace production environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in assembly, inspection, and material handling.
  • Familiarity with shipping/receiving systems and documentation processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills for recordkeeping.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Valid driver's license
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations.



Desired Skills


  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and shipping documentation.
  • Familiarity with standard manufacturing tools (crimpers, torque wrenches, drills, etc.) and packaging equipment.
  • Experience handling aerospace or precision components under controlled conditions.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple manufacturing and logistics priorities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to support cross-functional operations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Clearance.
  • Experience operating electrical and nonelectrical manufacturing equipment.
