FOREMOST DAIRY FARM Job Description
The Senior Agriculture Associate will play a vital role in maintaining the daily operations of the Foremost Dairy Farm, which is part of the Central MO Research Extension and Education Center (CM-REEC). This position not only supports the dairy operations but also strengthens the university's research and teaching mission. In addition to the recent faculty hire of a dairy nutritionist, the MU Foremost Dairy Farm provides hands-on learning for more than 200 students each year. By ensuring the health and productivity of the herd, the Senior Agriculture Associate will enable faculty and students to pursue innovative research and hands-on learning opportunities, while also supporting outreach efforts that benefit Missouri's agricultural producers and communities. Key Responsibilities:
Shift
40-hour work week, typically 7:30am to 4pm M-F, with flexible scheduling and occasional weekends when needed. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Must have valid driver's license; CDL is preferred. Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $17.05 -$29.69/hour. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
