POSITION SUMMARY
Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a People Data Analyst to assist in leveraging our People data and gain insights to the workforce. This role will involve leveraging data and analytics to provide insights and make recommendations on hiring, engagement, retention, and productivity.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR processes and excellent analytical skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
General Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze and interpret complex employee data and workforce metrics.
- Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data reports, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information.
- Assist in creating strategic workforce plans by providing data-based insights into recruitment, engagement, retention, and performance.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data, and provide a clear interpretation of the findings.
- Create and present reports that effectively communicate trends and predictions in employee behavior and needs.
- Work closely with HR and management to develop and implement data-driven strategies for workforce optimization.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Manage data integrity and accuracy.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in people analytics and data analysis tools.
- Actively participate in Workday Community to identify any potential issues as well as identify any new solutions to existing issues.
- Work independently with great team spirit.
- Take full ownership of and accountability for assigned tasks and communicate status accurately to management and teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a People Analytics Specialist or similar role
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods
- Experience with HRIS and other data management systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented and strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in the MS Office suite of products
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple tasks in a complex and fast changing environment
- Self-motivated and directed with the ability to learn quickly
- Able to multi-task and concurrently manage multiple tasks
- Able to work independently
- Team oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to drive results
- Professional/lived experience working in a culturally competent manner with a broad range of people.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Required:
- 2 -3 years of professional experience in Human Resources, Information Technology or similarly applicable field
Preferred:
- BA/BS in Human Resources, Statistics, Business Administration, or relevant field
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of the Company's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Denver area base salary range: $80,000.00 - $112,000.00 per year
