Description and Requirements

This University Recruitment Program Manager role focuses on managing the full lifecycle of university recruiting, from sourcing and candidate engagement to event planning and talent branding. You'll collaborate with internal teams, early career program managers and external partners to deliver impactful early talent programs, leveraging digital platforms and innovative strategies to attract diverse candidates. The position combines project management, relationship building, and creative problem-solving to strengthen Lenovo's campus recruiting presence.

What You Will Do:

  • Full university recruiter life cycle workflow management (sourcing, screening, candidate management, offer extension, etc.) throughout the university recruiting season
  • Manage digital sourcing and job posting platforms to identify new trends and avenues to source candidates
  • Coordinate on-site interview days for recruiting programs in partnership with key-stakeholders and hiring managers
  • Manage candidate referrals and creating new ways to engage with candidates on the Lenovo Talent Community via our ATS/CRM
  • Partner with our university partners and other Lenovo Funded programs to build and attract a community of a variety of candidates
  • Project management for university recruiting event planning, logistics, budgeting, and execution as determined by the team
  • Talent brand management with social media postings and partnering with the Lenovo Employer Brand Team to passively source talent
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, career development opportunities collaborating with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), Learning and Development, etc. to early talent candidates
  • This role sits at Lenovo Corporate Office, Morrisville, NC. Lenovo is on a hybrid schedule: 3 Days in office and 2 Days work from anywhere. During the summer intern season additional days may be required as schedule demands. Also, Fall recruitng season may require 3+ days in office/or travel. Most travel is regional.

What You Will Bring: Must-Have (Essential for Compliance & Core Role)
  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Human Resources, Communications, or related field from an accredited university
  • OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
  • Experience: 2-4 years in university campus recruitment, early career programs, onboarding, or talent strategies.
  • Experience leading in-person and virtual programming initiatives.
  • Experience managing relationships with community partners (e.g., university faculty, ERGs, STEM student organizations).
Skills & Abilities:
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration experience, ideally in a global setting.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% during peak recruitment season.
  • Ability to ideate, design, and execute engagement initiatives.
  • Experience with multiple digital sourcing and job posting platforms (e.g., Handshake, Simplicity).
  • Familiarity with ATS and CRM systems.

Nice-to-Have (Preferred but Not Required)

  • Experience with Avature and/or Workday.
  • Prior exposure to talent brand management and social media strategies.
  • Project management experience for recruiting events (logistics, budgeting).
  • Experience partnering with Lenovo-funded programs or similar initiatives.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends in digital sourcing.
