Description and Requirements
Are you an early-career professional eager to explore the world of artificial intelligence and mobile innovation? Join the MBG AI Productization team and help bring cutting-edge AI technologies to life in Motorola's mobile products. This is a great career opportunity to contribute to the development of intelligent features and next-generation system architectures. You'll work alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment at our Chicago office, gaining hands-on experience with generative AI, mobile platforms, and real-world productization challenges. With strong mentorship, exposure to advanced technologies, and a supportive team, you'll grow your skills and make a meaningful impact from day one.
As a member of our AI Productization team, you'll contribute to:
  • Developing and integrating AI-enhanced mobile applications using Android and Kotlin.

  • Developing and experimenting with generative AI techniques to create smart, context-aware user experiences across a number of mobile products and platforms.

  • Assisting in the integration of AI ecosystem models into the mobile delegation architecture.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to take delivery of AI ecosystem components and integrate them into MBG product platforms and experiences.

  • Staying current with the latest trends in AI/ML, mobile development, and cloud technologies.


Basic Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of professional experience in mobile, embedded, or AI systems development (Android/Kotlin or iOS/Swift), with a track record of contributing to shipped features or products.

  • Python, Java, C++ experience, and a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in AI/ML, especially generative AI or prompt engineering.

  • Understanding of system architecture and interest in embedded or hardware-integrated AI.

  • Experience with tools like Android Studio, Git, or Jira.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning new technologies.

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $90k - 115K. Individuals will also eligible for an annual performance bonus. This role will join us at our Chicago, IL location on a hybrid schedule onsite 3 days/week. Lenovo's various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com.
