JOB MISSION:

The Retail Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making by developing comprehensive reports and delivering data-driven insights. This position supports our global leadership team and cross-functional partners, ensuring they have the critical information needed to make informed decisions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in advanced data analysis and report development, demonstrating expertise in leveraging data to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and optimize business performance. This position report into the Global Operations Manager, Retail Technology.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Business Analysis and Support

  • Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights.

  • Consolidate and efficiently process raw data from multiple sources to improve reporting performance and accuracy.

  • Review and assess existing retail reports, gather stakeholder feedback, and provide recommendations to enhance insights.

  • Assist in standardizing reporting views and templates across global teams and regions to ensure consistency and clarity.

  • Support training initiatives to enhance end-user experience for all levels of consumer access.

  • Partner with BI Architecture support to identify and address gaps or accuracy issues in the data warehouse.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical support.

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment on data projects.

  • Establish a continuous feedback loop to refine and improve insights on each reporting project.

  • Share and solicit best practices for data analysis across the global teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Global Retail Operations

  • Create clear and impactful visualizations for Retail KPIs and regional performance.

  • Build and manage new insights for Omni initiatives including Omnichannel business, Volumental, and Membership.

  • Support migration of existing reporting for Retail and Ecomm that align with current business strategy.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant business and analysis experience.
  • Proven track record of using advanced PowerBI skills to analyze large datasets, create insightful reports, and deliver actionable business intelligence.

  • Ability to identify and effectively communicate areas of improvement within operational workflows and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Experience in developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and drive continuous improvement.

  • History of combining multiple data sources and input points.

  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, gather requirements, and provide data-driven solutions.

Boston, MA Headquarters - (NB) Only Pay Range: $79,515.00 - $102,600.00 - $125,685.00 Annual (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)

Flexible Work Schedule

Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced "Work from Anywhere" (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year. This model will help us enhance our culture while continuing to maintain elements of flexibility.
