Security Officer - Driving Post Screener

As a Security Officer - Driving Post Screener in Niles, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Screener in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment, supporting access control, and upholding Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, and integrity through teamwork and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Support access control procedures by screening individuals and/or vehicles entering the aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activities.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
