As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech, media, and telecom locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. This is a primarily driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and communication, all while embodying our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and directions as needed, maintaining a professional presence.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities as needed, including evacuation procedures and/or alerting first responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
