As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to an access control post at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and use technology to manage access points. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain an orderly environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client requirements.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the food and beverage location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
