What You'll Do:

• Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner while monitoring access to the location's front desk area.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms, and report any unusual activity or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner according to established protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including following evacuation procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and offering assistance to employees and visitors as needed.
• Communicate professionally with location staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
