CAE Instructor Pilots - All for the pursuit of aviation excellence. As an Instructor Pilot at CAE/SIMCOM, your role soars beyond training. Whether you're leading simulator sessions or pre-flight briefings, you'll inspire trust and mastery for the moments that matter. Job Description: The Instructor Pilot delivers classroom instruction, insimulator training, and inaircraft training for Initial, Recurrent, and Specialty courses. The Instructor prioritizes customer progress by: Applying a focused approach to individual training needs Tailoring instruction to address identified improvement areas Using briefing and debriefing sessions to provide constructive feedback Deliver standardized training in the classroom, simulator, and aircraft Provide Initial, Recurrent, and Differences training Enforce CAE SIMCOM safety and instructional standards Apply strong verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills to teach effectively Offer constructive feedback and evaluate customer progress Minimum Qualifications: FAA Commercial Pilot License FAA CFI and CFII ratings 1,500 total flight hours Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and online applications Excellent fluency in English (verbal and written) Ability to meet the physical requirements listed below Preferred Qualifications: College degree Previous PC12 experience Physical Requirements: Constantly ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles Occasionally move into various positions, including confined spaces Remain in stationary positions for prolonged periods (standing or sitting) Occasionally move about to accomplish tasks Occasionally adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds Occasionally perform repetitive wrist, hand, or finger motions Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and EAP plans 401(k) and employee stock purchase programs with CAE match Generous paid time off, including parental leave and vacation Companypaid life insurance, AD&D, shortterm disability, and caregiver support Voluntary legal coverage, longterm care, dependent life insurance, pet insurance, and FSA programs Additional programs supporting healthy worklife balance and personal and professional wellbeing #LI-TO1 About CAE At CAE, our mission is clear: to help make the world a safer place.
