As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies, while responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized individuals, or unusual occurrences within the location.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general information, contributing to a welcoming environment.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when their assistance is required on site.
  • Document incidents and maintain detailed reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
