What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies while interacting with visitors, employees, and vendors at the retail location.
• Help to deter unwanted activity by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the store, sales floor, and surrounding perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Observe and report unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
• Assist with emergency response activities and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence to help foster a secure environment for customers and staff within the retail setting.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
