Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed Government Center Patrol - Full Time in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a valued team member patrolling government locations in an armed and driving capacity. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $18.61 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, remaining alert to potential security-related concerns.
  • Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity or access through a visible presence and adherence to established protocols.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any security-related issues or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols for armed patrol posts in government settings.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as requested by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
