THE POSITION

Washington County is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our team. In this critical role, you will leverage your expertise in financial systems operations and analysis to enhance our operational efficiency and support diverse business needs. A primary function of this position will be supporting finance users with the newly implemented ERP system, Workday. This position requires an individual with strong organizational and communication skills who can seamlessly translate complex technical information to various stakeholders.

Key duties include:

  • Respond to user questions and issues related to Workday financial functions
  • Route more complex issues to the appropriate subject matter experts
  • Maintain and update training documentation
  • Track and support training requirements based on user access
  • Coordinate and lead user group meetings
  • Follow system governance procedures and assist with troubleshooting

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, computer science or related field, and a minimum of two (2) years of hands-on business systems experience including data management, input, ad hoc reporting, and system support; OR
  • Associate's degree in business, information technology, computer science or related field, and a minimum of four (4) years of hands-on business systems experience including data management, input, ad hoc reporting, and system support; OR
  • Six (6) years of hands-on business systems experience including data management, input, ad hoc reporting, and system support.
