As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activities in a tech, media, or telecom environment.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming location.
• Participate in emergency response activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
