The team

We're looking for a Technical Change Management Specialist to lead IT process improvement and change management initiatives that impact the entire organization. This is an individual contributor role with high visibility, combining strategic influence, executive-level communications, and hands-on execution to ensure smooth transitions and strong engagement across diverse audiences.

The Role

You'll work closely with Corporate Communications, Marketing, and technical SMEs, crafting compelling messages, publishing content on the intranet, creating resources, and managing surveys to measure organizational readiness and adoption. The role also ensures the intranet meets usability and brand standards, provides training for content owners and editors, and collaborates with internal SharePoint Administrators to maintain the platform's technical requirements.

What You'll bring

Drive IT process improvement and change management projects using proven methodologies.
* Develop and deliver executive-level communications for IT and corporate audiences.
* Partner with Corporate Comms and Marketing to ensure alignment and clarity.
* Regularly create and deliver executive-level presentations to communicate project status, readiness, and adoption progress to senior leadership.
* Publish engaging content on the company intranet and maintain documentation.
* Ensure intranet usability and branding standards are met; provide training for content owners and editors.
* Collaborate with SharePoint Administrators to maintain technical requirements.
* Design and analyze employee feedback mechanisms to provide actionable insights.
* Act as a change agent, promoting best practices and minimizing disruption during transitions.
* Monitor implementation and measure success of change initiatives.

o 8+ years with demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects and influencing senior stakeholders.
o Strong knowledge of change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
o Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive messaging.
o Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (O365) tools and other enterprise collaboration platforms.
o Understanding of intranet usability and branding standards, with ability to train content owners.
o Ability to leverage survey and analytics tools to gather insights and drive decisions.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, IT, or related field. Recognized subject matter expert in change management and IT communications. Comfortable managing large-scale projects independently. Thrives in a fast-paced environment with complex challenges.

As required by the equal pay and transparency acts in those states that require it, the expected base salary for this position is:

Base Salary Range - $165,000 - $168,000 Total Compensation per year

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara's bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
