POSITION SPECIFICS The Center for Supply Chain Research (CSCR/Center) seeks to fill a full-time position supporting the operations of a high performing research center focused on bridging academia and industry. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this position requires a candidate to be self-directed, conscientious, and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines; collaborate with internal and external supporters, and demonstrate a genuine appreciation for working with multiple audiences in a team environment as our clients include industry executives, Supply Chain & Information Systems faculty, students, University administrators, and staff. Essential Skills and Qualifications
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule of 3 days on-site in University Park, and 2 off-site days. This is subject to change. This position does not allow for a fully remote work situation as most of the interactions are in-person. For full consideration a cover letter and resume is required to be submitted. MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS If filled as Education Program Specialist - Advanced Professional, this position requires: Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None If filled as Education Program Specialist - Senior Professional, this position requires: Bachelor's Degree 6+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: NoneBACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. Due to the financial and fiduciary responsibilities of this position, successful completion of a credit history check will be required in addition to standard background checks. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
