Position Title: Associate I Payroll

Work Location: St. Paul, MN, USA 55117

Assignment Duration: 3 Months (Possibility of Extension/Conversion)

Work Arrangement: 100% onsite

Position Summary: We need candidates specializing in "backend" payroll or after payroll has been processed. This position is looking for candidates that have strong payroll tax processing experience.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work on tax notices, work with tax providers, power of attorneys, and 3rd party authorizations

* Internal tickets communicating with outside tax vendors, testing, and attending meetings

Qualification & Experience:

* Previous work with state agencies

* Has multi-state tax experience

* Microsoft Office Suites (Excel)

* Communication: Clear and effective communication

* Attention to Detail: Ensuring all aspects of the project are thoroughly considered and executed

* Solid foundation of payroll taxes- federal, state and Fica taxes

* Tax filing exp- payroll tax filing

* Attention to detail

* Fast paced

* Project exp- testing exp

Top skills - attention to detail, self-motivation, consistency

* High school with at least 2-3 years payroll tax experience

* Education- HS diploma
