Summary:
The ECT Technician role functions under the direction of a Registered Nurse and performs delegated patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Performs a variety of tasks including cleaning of care areas, stocking and disposal of linen and maintaining assigned supplies.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  1. Education: Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant training program preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: State of Maine Certified Nursing Assistant license preferred. Current BLS Certification or must obtain within 30 days of start date required.
  3. Experience: One year of acute care experience required. Experience in behavioral health preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required N/A
