Patient Service Representative - Imaging (Per Diem)

Position Summary
MaineHealth is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our dynamic Imaging team within the Radiology/Fluoroscopy Department. In this important frontline role, you will support patients and clinical staff by managing check-ins, scanning orders, answering phone calls, and helping ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient who visits our Imaging department.

Schedule

  • Per diem position

  • Rotating schedule

  • 8-hour shifts (either 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 8:30 am - 5:00 pm)

  • No remote flexibility; this role is fully on-site

What You'll Do

  • Greet and check in patients for Imaging services

  • Verify and scan physician orders

  • Answer phone calls and assist with appointment or service inquiries

  • Support efficient patient flow and collaborate closely with clinical team members

  • Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Previous office experience with medical office experience preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
