Description Maine Medical CenterNursing This is a bargaining unit position Date Posted: 12/9/2025 Per Diem Summary: A registered, professional nurse who has demonstrated expertise in wound/ostomy/continence nursing. This nurse provides expert clinical leadership through direct patient care, education, and consultation to nursing and other disciplines in order to meet the complex needs of wound/ostomy/continence patients and their families. The CWOCN provides for continuity in assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient needs from admission through discharge and in the MMC outpatient setting. The CWOCN promotes evidence based practice and plays a principal role in quality initiatives to assure best outcomes for patients and families. Functions under the general supervision of the Director, Center for Clinical & Professional Development.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
