The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Coordinate and implement programs that address adolescent needs such as job skills training, leadership training, and
mentoring activities. Insure that (unit/department/division) follows all applicable policies, laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma and/or college credits
  • NJ Driver's license

Preferred:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Shift- Days -Flexible must be able to work 8:00am4:00pm, 8:30am-4:30pm and 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Full Time

Essential Functions:

  • Assist students in college preparation including completing college applications, writing personal statements, enrollment in SAT
  • Conduct and coordinate Academic Excellence Program
  • Conduct outreach activities to engage students in program activities and identify students in need of services
  • Coordinate and supervise tutoring activities and tutoring staff
  • Coordinate college and career workshops, field trips and other activities Monitoring and evaluation of programs conducted and student progress Network to develop relationships with colleges and vocational skills to enhance students' potential for admission
