Overview We are seeking a Paramedic, sometimes referred to as our Emergency Care Technician (ECT), Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) or Emergency Room Technician (ER Tech). A Paramedic who will assist with tasks like starting IVs, performing EKGs, monitoring vital signs, and supporting airway management. The Paramedic play a key role in trauma care, CPR, and patient transport, working closely with nurses and physicians during emergencies. The Paramedic will use many of their field skills, who will always perform under hospital protocols and supervision. This position is on a per diem basis, PD/PRN, meaning as needed. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
Qualifications Education and Work Experi 1. Current and valid paramedic license issued by the State of Kansas. 2. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. ACLS 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 4. PALS and/or ENPC required 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 5. Minimum of one year as a paramedic in an EMS or acute care hospital preferred. Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below): 1.
