• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
• Pay Range: $18.00-$21.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Lifting Requirements: Up to 50 lbs

What You'll Do

• Use power tools and installation equipment to complete commercial flooring projects.
• Inspect, clean, and prepare surfaces before installation.
• Repair and level subfloors, addressing rotted wood or irregularities.
• Sweep, sand, scrape, or chip surfaces and fill cracks to create a smooth foundation.
• Cut, fit, and install flooring materials, including LVT, carpet, ceramic, vinyl, laminate, and more.
• Apply adhesive and install polyethylene film or padded underlayment as required.
• Ensure all flooring is installed to the manufacturer's standards without defects or irregularities.
• Clean excess adhesives and inspect completed work for accuracy.
• Replace defective materials when needed.
• Collaborate with carpenters, architects, engineers, and other trades to meet project specifications.
• Follow instructions from the Project Foreman and maintain compliance with safety procedures.

What You Bring

• Previous commercial flooring installation experience in carpet, sheet vinyl, LVT, and ceramic preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Strong understanding of flooring substrates, concrete sealers, curing agents, and installation processes.
• Ability to read floor plans, measure accurately, and apply strong mathematical skills.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with professionalism and strong communication.
• Must follow safety expectations and maintain regular, reliable attendance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
