Summary:

The main function of a supply chain analyst is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to the production schedule. A typical supply chain analyst is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.

Responsibilities:



  • Examine documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
  • Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements and material priorities.
  • Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
  • Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
  • Demand Forecasting, Customer Process identification and improvement, Root Cause analysis, Sales trend analysis.
  • Activities have a direct impact on both sales revenue and profitability within the assigned account base.
  • Help to ensure orders are shipped promptly to meet the customer's requested delivery date.
  • Conduct Root Cause analysis.
  • Improvement Monthly Report: Semi-annual preparation and monthly analysis.
  • Process Improvement, Sell Through Analysis (Customer), Sales Forecast to Actual Sales Analysis.
  • KPI (Baseline Improvement).
  • Use of the supply chain system for order management, reporting, and forecasting.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years related professional experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations (flexible)
  • Forecasting or Demand Planning within retail experience preferred.
  • Experience in working directly with customers and maintaining positive relationships with them
  • Proficiency with Advanced Excel data management functions, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, V-lookup, etc.
  • Self-starter with strong focus on exceeding customer satisfaction goals
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced multi-cultural environment
  • SAP Experience a plus
