Job Summary

McKesson is seeking to add Supply Chain Systems Lead Analyst.

The Supply Chain Systems Lead Analyst plays a key role in configuring, integrating, and optimizing advanced planning systems to enable efficient supply chain operations. Reporting to the Senior Director, this role ensures system reliability and scalability while partnering with business teams to translate requirements into practical solutions - driving process improvements and digital enablement. The position combines strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of planning processes to implement enhancements, resolve complex issues, and deliver solutions that improve efficiency in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Process Integration & Optimization

  • Lead process mapping, documentation, and standardization across Inventory Management, Demand Planning, and Service Level Analytics.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.

  • Contribute to the development of new and/or improved buying processes via system solutions.

  • Facilitate scenario planning and change management activities to support business transformation.

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage medium-to-large system implementation workstreams and process improvement initiatives, ensuring deliverables meet scope, timeline, and quality standards.

  • Coordinate with analytics, IT, and business teams to align process requirements with technical solutions.

  • Develop and execute communication and training plans for process changes.

  • Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors.

Stakeholder Support

  • Serve as the Subject matter Expert for the business to support cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Provide technical training and support to end users and team members.

  • Research and solve production system issues in a multi-echelon environment, analyzing replenishment algorithms and their impact on buying calculations.

  • Communicate technical risks, issues, and opportunities to leadership and project stakeholders.

Education & Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience. Less years required if Master's or Doctorate qualifications.

Critical Skills

  • 10+ years' experience in supply chain systems, IT integration, or process optimization roles.

  • Hands-on experience with planning systems (Kinaxis preferred), ERP platforms, and data integration.

  • Technical aptitude in ERP and procurement systems. Kinaxis, SAP ERP and/or S4 Hana preferred.

  • Strong financial acumen related to inventory and cash flow.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes and technical drivers (demand, supply, MEIO, S&OP).

Additional Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL, data analytics, and system troubleshooting.

  • Certifications in supply chain, project management, or Six Sigma.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong Communication skills and ability to influence others.

  • Kinaxis Author/Admin certifications.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to travel 20%.

  • Hybrid work environment - 6555 North State Highway 161, Irving, TX 75039.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$118,500 - $197,500
