Job Description We are seeking a Lockbox Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This role primarily focuses on data entry and verifying information on digital copies of checks to ensure accuracy within the system. Additional responsibilities may include mail sorting and lockbox operations. Key Responsibilities: * Perform data entry to log digital check data (deposit amount, name verification, date, etc.) into the system. * Sort bulk mail deliveries and stage appropriately. * Open incoming mail for wholesale group (lower volume, higher check amounts). * Use automated mail-opening machines for retail group (higher volume, lower check amounts). * Perform 10-key data entry to accurately reflect deposit amounts into accounts. Qualifications: * Previous 10-key data entry experience required (preferably in a financial services environment). * Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office. * High School diploma or equivalent required. * 1 year of retail banking or lockbox experience preferred. Work Environment: * On-site at a bank lockbox facility (team of 4-5 people). * Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (30-minute lunch). * Business casual dress code. * Newly renovated workspace. * Ability to wear headphones and listen to music/podcasts during shift. Additional Information: * Opportunity to transition to a permanent role after 6 months. * Annual pay increases based on performance once permanent. * Physical demands include manual dexterity for operating office equipment. * Parking available on-site. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Creve Coeur, MO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
