Support the management and preparation of materials for hands-on engineering challenges, assist with daily camper drop-off and pick-up process, Friday camp closing events and general team management. Teachers, along with other team members, help lead camp activities while supervising approximately 12 (elementary or middle school) or 24 (high school) students, providing mentoring, team facilitation, and behavior management.

Collaborate and communicate with the Coordinator of Engineering Summer Programs, undergraduate Counselors, and high school Assistant Counselors. Contact and discuss concerns with parents as necessary. |
| Minimum Experience/Education |
We are seeking educators of all disciplines (
STEM, Art, Language Arts, etc.) with a keen interest in learning about engineering and how it impacts all of humankind. |
| Department Required Skills |
A confident and enthusiastic educator with experience in working with elementary, middle, or high school-aged students. Participate in planning and implementing week-long programs focused on introducing children to the fields of engineering. The ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the development and implementation of the program. |

Requirements and Preferences:
- Applicants should be interested in increasing their understanding of engineering education and how to integrate STEM connections into their classroom instruction. You will be provided with all the necessary knowledge and support needed to successfully implement camp challenges.
- Experience teaching with inquiry-based strategies and implementing hands-on, activity-based lessons. Ability to relate and work with children in a relaxed but enthusiastic manner while ensuring students are productive and make a positive contribution to their own learning and the learning of others.
