The Role:

The Security Shift Supervisor maintains a safe and secure environment for guests, team members and company assets. Oversees all Security activities and employees on assigned shift.

Responsibilities:



  • Ensure consistent high-quality service to all our team members and guests.
  • Patrol property to ensure safety of guests and team members.
  • Delegate authority, assign responsibilities and work schedules to department staff, and monitor for timely and proper completion.
  • Investigate incidents and guest complaints and produce summary report of findings.
  • Check for and report safety hazards.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to guest and team member incidents and accidents. Write reports.
  • Monitor customer and employee passage in and out of casino.
  • Answer all calls promptly and professionally.
  • Participate in routine drills as assigned



Qualifications:



  • Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Class C license.
  • Must acquire and maintain CPR certification.
  • Must possess valid driver's license and maintain good driving record.
  • Must have a professional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels in the Company and in external organizations.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • One to three years experience performing and managing duties of security department personnel, a 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Gaming industry experience is required.
  • Must possess excellent guest service skills to effectively deal with guests.
