Facilities Planning Supervisor

Electric Boat - Groton is seeking a Facilities Planning Supervisor who will lead a team of Planners in a fast paced environment performing planning in support of Groton Facilities Department.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Monitoring construction schedules
• Oversee Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Planned Outages, and Unplanned Outage communication
• Collecting and reporting status of job progress
• Maintaining work package status
• Performing tactical problem solving
• Coordinate with other Production and Planning organizations
• Overseeing maintenance department purchasing processes, such as: Oracle, PEWO system.

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 4+ years of experience in Facilities Planning
• 2+ Years experience working with a CMMS Program

Preferred:

• Trade experience a Plus

• Excellent verbal / written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Skilled computer user
• Ability to maneuver the shipyard
• Proven ability to handle difficult conversations and high pressure situations with professionalism
