As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in SAN JOSE, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards encountered during patrols within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Communicate clearly with team members, management, and site personnel to relay important security-related information.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Support emergency response procedures and provide assistance during drills or actual emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
