What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail environment and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any unusual behavior or security-related concerns.
• Communicate clearly with team members, management, and/or local authorities as necessary regarding incidents, emergencies, or security-related matters.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of activities and observations during each shift.
• Follow all company protocols regarding the carrying and use of authorized weapons while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Being at least 21 years of age is required.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
