Surgical Technician Trainee I

Internal position to Bayview Medical Center Employees ONLY

40 hour - Full Time

Rotating Shift

( Internal Applicants Only)

The trainee will be in a training program for all knowledge/skills listed below: Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, or Surgical Technician, performs duties in the operating room to assist the surgical team in surgical services in: scrubbing on all types of operative procedures, obtaining and preparing instruments, equipment and maintaining a clean and safe surgical environment. Performs any one or more of the measures specific to the Surgical Technician I job description, for a specified period of time, as assigned by the Instructor/Nurse Manager.

High school diploma or equivalent. Enrolled in accredited Surgical Technician Program. Enrolled in accredited surgical technician program and has experience in the healthcare setting.

Salary Range: Minimum 23.93/hour - Maximum 23.93/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
