Security Guard - Media Patrol Driver

As a Security Guard - Media Patrol Driver in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a dynamic tech and media location, you will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas using a company vehicle. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Work closely with site personnel and visitors to provide assistance and information as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
• Participate in site-specific training and maintain awareness of security-related protocols and emergency procedures relevant to the technology, media, and telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
