Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed Aero Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with personnel and visitors, deliver outstanding customer service, and support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity within an aerospace and defense environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help protect personnel, assets, and sensitive information.
  • Maintain detailed reports and logs of all activities, incidents, and irregularities encountered during patrols.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergency situations or alarms as required by site-specific protocols.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies while carrying out armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Have an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Hold a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
