Facility Technician Evening shift (3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.) Job Description Overall Objective: The Facility Technician will be able to perform technical activities in a complex computer environment that requires 24x7, continuous shift coverage. Under this job description, the core competencies will be identical for all operators regardless of day / night or weekend shifts. There are some additional tasks that are primarily performed on one shift vs. another. However, every Operator is required to be proficient in all Data Center procedures. The person will operate and monitor a variety of critical information systems and computer peripheral equipment to assist in the provision of uninterrupted Information technology and to obtain the highest possible level of patient care in the health care Industry. Function Summary: Day to day is performed under general supervision with a wide degree of creativity and latitude for the use of independent judgment and decision-making (within the guidelines of Data Center procedures and policies). Employee should have extensive knowledge and background experience to perform a wide variety of complicated tasks, ranging from systemic monitoring hands on physical activities; this will include the monitoring of total systems operational performance to ensure a high systemic availability rate. Data Center Operators normal proficiency will be to provide systemic environmental availability with or without direct supervision. The staff members will provide assistance to 3rd Party NTTDATA Server Administrators and system analysts in trouble shooting and diagnosing problems. The employee's skillsets will include intermediate understanding of Data Center Facility equipment, with the ability to provide onsite hands on support at the direction of management. Facility Technician Summary: * Facility Technician need to perform all defined multi-tasking requirements and exercise latitude of good judgment. * Facility Technician are to execute sound judgment for decision making during problematic situations. * Facility Technician should display professional and effective communication skills when addressing technical issues with co-workers, Supervisors or when escalating problems to Management. * Facility Technician are to demonstrate extensive troubleshooting skills during problem determination and resolution scenarios. * Facility Technician will be tasked to perform in a lead operator role in the absence of a supervisor and will be expected to perform in such a capacity to ensure the day to day requirements are achieved. * Provide training and guidance to junior Facility Technician operators as needed for optimal shift knowledge base proficiency. * Exhibit a positive work attitude in order to facilitate a cohesive work environment. * Facility Technician are expected to be proficient in all of the above competencies in addition to enforcing Data Center security policies and practices. Facility Technician at all levels will typically report to a Shift Supervisor on duty, however, on occasion, Level 3 operators will be tasked to perform in a Supervisory role as required. Facility Technician must exhibit proficiency in these areas: Core Responsibilities and CompentenciesEmployee will need to demonstrate knowledge and demonstrate capabilities in all areas of Data Center Operations including but not limited to the following: * Capable of managing all system problems within the Data Center. Research, resolve and escalate all incidents while properly communicate scope of problem or incident to supervisors and management and also support staff. * Must be able to handle multiple tasks and assignments effectively and efficiently. * Communicate effectively with co-workers * Must be able to make independent judgment and decisions in abnormal situations when necessary. If help is required then a supervisor or manager should be contacted for assistance. * Assist the Manager in demonstrating high-level of awareness over the entire Data Center Operations and facility.

Estimated compensation for this position: 70,000.00 - 75,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
