Sr Manager, Category Management, US Food - Salty Snacks Posted Date: Dec 17, 2025 Requisition Number: 127252 Sr Manager, Category Management, US Food - Salty Snacks Remote Responsible for acting as the Category Management Team Lead for US Food COT to Sales Partners, Grocery Customers' key decision makers, and internal Hershey partners to drive consistent topline/net sales growth/share target for the US Food Channel. Evaluates trends, analyzes data and identifies key customer opportunities consistent with shopper and P&L strategies. Acts as the Category Expert in partnership with the Food COT to co-create strategic business plans and category initiatives. Uses insights to drive action in the best interest of the salty snacks categories of Pretzels, Puffs, RTE Popcorn and cross-category multipacks. Responsibilities 1.Support Customer Sales Executives (CSEs) with the creation, negotiation, and execution of the JBP Plan 2.Lead a team responsible for driving strategic initiatives to accelerate in-aisle shopper centric POGs for Take Home, Seasons, and enterprise initiatives. 3.Establish Hershey Salty Snacks as the indispensable consultative partner in the Food COT leveraging Circana, Symphony, 84.51, Numerator, JDA and Industry insights. 4.Build an insights driven product portfolio which meets unique needs of the Food COT shoppers and consumers 5.Act as a project lead that can identify category/business opportunities, build a selling story to gain alignment, create an action plan and drive execution with our customers and the HSY Sales team. *Build new tools and capabilities to analyze and grow the Food COT business.
*Partners with Shopper Insights in creating and monetizing the Shopper Insights learning plan relevant to the Food COT
*Forecast retail takeaway to support supply chain efficiency, reduce waste, and communicate category opportunities and risks to CSEs and the customer
*Drive best in class retail reporting and insights to support store-level selling efforts.
*Drive project work by influencing Food COT customers to create cross functional teams to continue to differentiate and elevate our market share and shopper loyalty.
*Utilize the performance management process to coach and develop direct report through the performance appraisal process and performance recording. Duties include; Expense report, access approvals, employee on-boarding & setups, performance management and feedback, and yearly input to budgeting plans.
Qualifications
*Advanced analytical skills, advanced understanding of consumer\shopper behavior and market research strategies, knowledge of consumer sales industry trends and complete working knowledge of the category management process in the connected commerce space.
Education: Bachelor's Degree Required
Experience: This position requires previous Category Management and/or CPG Sales experience (approximately 7+ years)
