Fuel Specialist III

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Leads sourcing and procurement related assignments, including program management ownership of sourcing and competitive bidding activities, contract administration, category management support, customer and supplier research and problem resolution, and timely ordering, delivery and inventory management of goods and services to support business operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Leads in supplier selection and onboarding, including competitive bidding, supplier negotiations and vendor management activities.

2. Leads activities that strengthen business stakeholder relationships, providing support in navigating procurement processes and procedures.

3. Actively uses, develops, and explores technology trends for quality tools that may be available for improved fuel reporting/managing efforts. Leads in activities that identify and implement enhancements to procurement and vendor administration processes, policies and systems.

4. Uses appropriate system of records, monitoring, tracking and maintaining overall program, process and systems compliance.

5. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.

6. Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalence experience

* Plus, three (3) years' experience in procurement/sourcing or fuel related categories

* Demonstrated knowledge of business software, spreadsheet applications.

* Proven ability in interpersonal and communication skills.

* Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills.

* Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.
