As a national leader in providing services to individuals with disabilities and mental illness, we're seeking dedicated leaders to join our Westminster, MD office as a Part-time Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support, including secretarial and receptionist duties.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 2pm

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform reception desk duties including answering phones, directing calls, faxes, messages, and mail to appropriate personnel, and directing visitors to appropriate staff.
  • Client Finance: Manage all client files in the office, complete monthly financial packets and ledgers, pay client bills, oversee and manage cash on hand, Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the consumer bank accounts/reconciliations, maintain benefits, managing social security, etc.
  • Assist HR Generalist with HR related responsibilities including contacting employment references, uploading documents, running backgrounds, and data entry.
  • Communicate information in a professional and courteous manner to individuals served, staff, and visitors.
  • Prepare outgoing mail and distribute incoming mail appropriately.
  • Prepare & set up conference room or training room for scheduled meetings & reset space after.
  • Order supplies for office as directed
  • Assist with day-to-day tasks of the office: customer contact, phone, email, mail, filing, document preparation, document shredding, and data entry.
  • Keep office common areas clean and organized.
  • Assist with communications and scheduling outside vendors for repairs and service.
  • Handles confidential information with discretion.
  • Monitor the entry doors, greet those who enter, and assist as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in reception and/or office duties or associate's degree in business.
