MaineHealth Stephens Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist to join our dedicated team in beautiful Norway, Maine. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a community practice committed to delivering exceptional care while maintaining strong work-life balance.

Position Highlights

• Medical direction model: Collaborate with 3 CRNAs daily to manage 3 sites of service, plus call responsibilities.
• Diverse surgical specialties: OBGYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry.
• 24/7 OB service.
• Collegial environment with experienced providers and outstanding support staff.
• Access to advanced technologies and a fully integrated Epic EMR.
• Strong patient-provider relationships within a community-focused health system.
• Anticipated schedule: Regular rotations with 2 other Anesthesiologist working 1 out of every 3 weeks.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active and unrestricted Maine medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
