We are seeking a high-impact Industrial Engineer to lead the optimization of our most critical manufacturing processes and strategic operational projects. As an Industrial Engineer, you will lead transformative projects that optimize material flow, enhance scalability, and support sustainable growth. This is your opportunity to make a measurable impact on efficiency, cost reduction, and throughput while collaborating across departments to design the next generation of our facilities and processes. ** This role will work onsite, 5 days/week, in Anoka, MN. ** WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Lead end-to-end design and implementation of workflows, facility layouts, and equipment integration to improve material flow and operational efficiency.
- Conduct time and motion studies, takt time analysis, and production flow assessments to identify bottlenecks and implement Lean solutions.
- Serve as technical lead for high-impact initiatives, ensuring projects meet key performance metrics, timelines, and budget targets.
- Use data-driven tools and simulation software to validate proposed changes and predict outcomes before implementation.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering teams to optimize new product introductions (NPI) for manufacturability and compliance with industry standards.
- Integrate process improvements with digital systems by using ERP platforms and data visualization tools to turn operational data into actionable insights.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in dynamic manufacturing or complex material flow environments; automotive or fast-paced production experience is preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred; PMP is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills. SQL is a nice-to-have.
- Experience using data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Proficient in CAD tools to design layouts.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $105,000.00 - $195,000.00
